Michael Alden
President and CEO

Mike is responsible for the company's vision, strategy, and day to day operations. Prior to Axceler, Mike was President of Percussion Software responsible for all operations of the company. Since joining Percussion in 1997, he held various positions, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations, SVP of Global Sales and Services, and Director of European Sales. Before Percussion Software, Mike held various leadership positions at Stride and Associates and Bond Technologies. Mike holds a BA in business administration from Saint Michael's College.

John DiBartolomeo
Chief Financial Officer 

John joins Axceler from Apparent Networks where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Apparent, John held senior financial and operations positions in numerous public and privately held venture backed high technology companies including Nellymoser, Softricity, Basis Technology, Interlynx Technology and Intermec Technologies. John has over 25 years experience with growth oriented companies with strong expertise in international operations, sales development, mergers and acquisitions. John holds a BA in accounting from Boston College and attended Suffolk University Executive MBA program.

Jeff Gore
Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Jeff is responsible for the strategic growth of Worldwide Direct Sales and furthering Axceler's Partner and Strategic Alliance Program. Prior to joining Axceler, Jeff was an executive with Stride and Associates, a national staffing IT firm, located in Boston MA. He played a pivotal role in developing and deploying Stride's Direct Sales Channel that, at it's height, reached over 60 Practice Teams and 400 Sales Professionals. Jeff's progression within Stride began in 1990 as an individual contributor, evolved to Practice Manager, Division Manager & Regional Director in New York City and culminated with VP of Sales & Operations and CEO roles in Boston's corporate offices. Jeff resides in Acton with his wife and three boys and attended Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Christian Buckley
Director of
Product Evangelism

Christian brings more than 20 years of technology management and marketing to his role as evangelist at Axceler. Christian is a Microsoft SharePoint MVP, and an internationally recognized author and speaker. As Axceler's evangelist, he drives product awareness, partner advocacy, and community development. He previously worked at Microsoft as part of the enterprise hosted SharePoint platform team (now part of Office365). Prior to Microsoft, Christian was managing director of a regional consulting firm in the San Francisco East Bay, co-founded and sold two technology startups, and worked with some of the world’s largest hi-tech and manufacturing companies to build and deploy collaboration and supply chain solutions. Christian holds an MBA in technology management and a BA in marketing.

Stan Neumann
Director of Engineering

Stan leads the creation and development of quality software products and documentation that are usable, useful and meet the needs of the people who use them. Stan brings a wealth of experience managing the development of commercial software at companies ranging from tiny start-ups to larger companies such as Wang Laboratories and Digital Equipment Corporation, working on Office and Collaboration applications such as Wang Word Processing, integrated office systems including Wang Office, ALL-IN-1, and TeamLinks, workflow systems, document imaging and document management systems, and electronic commerce fraud detection systems. Stan earned a BS and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mark Scholfield
Global Director of Technical Support

Mark brings eighteen years experience in the technical support field to his role as key customer advocate on the management team. Since joining Percussion in 1997 following posts at NatWest Bank, BUPA, BAT, Banque Paribas and the London Stock Exchange, he has made the Company's technical support function his own, building and managing a highly skilled team that focuses on ensuring customers' success across the company's multiple product lines. Scholfield transitioned to his current role from Director of Customer Support in December 2006.

Gail Shlansky
Senior Director of Product Management

Gail leads the company's global product management and overall strategy for Axceler. Gail brings extensive product experience to the company, having started her career in software development. Gail's experience in product management and product marketing includes working at such leading firms as Bell Labs, Digital Equipment Corporation, Wang, Lotus and IBM. While at Lotus, Gail led the product management efforts of Notes and Domino Messaging, Security, and Administration and Management. At IBM, as Product Manager, Gail led the direction of the product in both the wireless and enterprise search areas. Gail holds a BS in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts and an MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
