The Client Manager module enables you to centrally manage end-user Notes clients. For example, the module can automatically reconfigure client settings as servers are added, consolidated, renamed or decommissioned. You can remotely manage, track and update clients by updating end-user desktop icons, the replicator page, as well as connection and location documents. Client Manager also makes it easy to move users mail files between servers or to different directories. Regardless if you are doing a server consolidation, moving mail files or updating local client settings, you can be fully track the progress with updated status icons. Information about your clients can be easily displayed in graphs or exported to excel for additional manipulation or distribution.

Client Manager also makes ServerAdmin Plus an efficient tool for aiding upgrades, offering a "hands-off" solution for upgrading Notes clients. Client Manager begins by auditing your user base, providing detailed hardware and software profiles of all clients and alerting you to potential upgrade issues such as insufficient disk space or memory. You then customize the client installation and deploy the setup to end-users - You can even segment users by a range of characteristics and perform the upgrade on a group-by-group basis. In addition to upgrading the client software, Client Manager automatically upgrades each user's mail file. From your workstation, you can track, graph and manage the upgrade progress while getting continuous feedback about the status of every client workstation.
