WOBURN, MA - May 3, 2004 — Percussion® Software, a leading developer of Lotus Domino add-on products, today announced a new version of ServerAdmin Plus, the company's award-winning administration product for Lotus Domino. ServerAdmin Plus 8.5 is the first Domino administration product to provide comprehensive server and client administration functionality in a single product. As a result, Domino administrators are able to more effectively execute projects such as server consolidations and efficiently streamline the maintenance of their Domino environment. Available within 30 days, ServerAdmin Plus 8.5 will be demonstrated next week at Admin 2004, The View Administration Conference for Notes and Domino Professionals, May 12-14 at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, MA.

The new version provides extensive enhancements to both the server and client administration capabilities of ServerAdmin Plus, including:

Complete automation of server consolidation —including new, integrated client capabilities, which makes server consolidation invisible to end-users. Functionality ranges from analysis of database activity to updating ACLs and replication settings, all the way through to updating settings such as desktop icons, replication information and connection documents for end-users;

Extension of client management capabilities —to include creating, updating and deleting a wide range of end-user settings;

Enhanced NSF Search functionality —giving administrators the ability to find problems and then make global changes efficiently to databases and templates, including across servers, by adding over 40 additional database search properties. This brings the total available NSF Search criteria in ServerAdmin Plus to more than 150, making it the most comprehensive product available for performing this capability. Furthermore, by enabling administrators to automatically take action on all of these criteria, ServerAdmin Plus eliminates much of the complexity and tedium of administering Domino environments;

New database properties available for expanded global administration —New criteria are available to make changes across multiple databases in the Database Properties Wizard for use in the NSF Search, ACL Search, NSF Explorer and Pro Manager modules. For example, in the Pro Manager module, administrators can now use searches and actions that are based on these new properties and build custom multi-step projects that run on a scheduled basis and send notifications of problems; and

Enhanced mail and document migration — Using its Pro Manager capability, ServerAdmin Plus 8.5 now offers the ability to selectively move documents to alternate locations (e.g., an archive, a less busy server, etc.). Documents can be selected based on user-defined rules, such as by keyword, size, date, or attachment.
