WOBURN, MA July 18, 2005 Percussion Tools, a leading developer of practical software solutions enabling customers to maximize the value and quality of enterprise content, today introduced version 2.5 of Lyrix, its popular Lotus Domino content integration product. Lyrix 2.5 will be introduced at the Lotus Advisor LIVE trade show, July 18-20 at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort, Las Vegas, NV. Advisor LIVE is the premier technical conference for IBM Lotus software.
Lyrix 2.5 now allows organizations to gain increasing value from their investment in Lotus Domino by enabling the transformation of Domino content to standard document formats, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, xHTML and XML. This allows organizations to reuse Domino content in the wide variety of corporate applications that readily accept these formats. For example, using Lyrix, rich Domino content can be easily archived in centralized document repositories, made available for access in corporate portals or transferred to a company Web site. Version 2.5 will be available next month.
New features include:

Convert Domino content to Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF Documents transforms Domino content, including embedded attachments and images, into formats acceptable by most enterprise applications;

Extract associated metadata enables easy organization of Domino content in new applications by preserving and transferring associated metadata;

Extract attachments transfers attachments and relevant metadata to RDBMS or file systems;

Enhanced user interface simplifies use of the product by providing an intuitive, task-oriented, user interface; and

Single Sign 0n Lyrix Web services API supports user authentication from other enterprise applications, eliminating the need for multiple end-user log-ins, and also preserves appropriate content access levels based on each user Domino user name.

Business users can continue working with Domino as they always have, while simultaneously reusing the Domino content in other enterprise applications.
