ORLANDO, FL — January 22, 2007— Percussion, a leading developer of administration and development tools for collaborative platforms, today announced ServerAdmin Plus V9, the award-winning administration tool for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino. This major release saves precious time and lowers cost of ownership by making it easier for administrators to maintain their Lotus Notes and Domino environments, including the ability to remotely manage Lotus Notes and Domino clients without interrupting end users. ServerAdmin Plus V9, scheduled for release in early Q1, 2007, will be unveiled for the first time at Percussion's pedestals 327-329 during Lotusphere 2007, January 21- 25 in Orlando, FL.
ServerAdmin Plus V9 makes it easier for administrators to securely track and manage administrative access and maintain administrative policies across servers and clients on an ongoing basis. With ServerAdmin Plus V9, all behind the scenes changes, such as moving servers or adding applications, can now be performed without interacting with end users. Additionally, ServerAdmin Plus V9 boasts performance and scalability enhancements to make it easier to manage large deployments and an easier to use, better organized user interface. ServerAdmin Plus V9 also improves reporting capabilities so administrators can use Microsoft Excel to share valuable analysis withothers, facilitating better decision making about the Lotus Notes/Domino environment and improving support for compliance requirements. ServerAdmin Plus V9 extends Domino Domain Monitoring (DDM) so administrators can now create automated actions to respond to DDM events. ServerAdmin Plus V9 also includes a new configuration option that allows remote administrators to focus on projects, rules and analyses that are specific to that office, while still allowing a centralized administrator to oversee all projects, rules and analyses.
