The Pro Manager allows you to create projects to automate routine Domino administration tasks as well as special tasks such as mail file policy enforcement and server consolidation. With the Pro Manager, you can automate even the most complex tasks with multi-step projects that integrate functionality from all areas of ServerAdmin Plus. For instance, you can chain multiple database actions, security actions, document actions, client actions and remote console commands into a single, powerful project. Pro Manager Projects include scheduling, status notification, and logging capabilities that allow you to track projects as they progress. In addition, projects can be triggered from the Domino Event Handler. For example, you can have DDM trigger a Pro Manager Project to identify where you can free up space when a disk is running low. The possibilities are endless, arming you with a very powerful way to control your environment.
ServerAdmin Plus allows administrators to leverage expertise across the enterprise by controlling access to Pro Manager projects. Administrators have custom rights, such as run, edit, create and delete. As a result, project creation can be left to experienced administrators, while junior administrators simply run the projects as needed.
