Percussion ServerAdmin Plus V7.5 allows you to leverage all the expertise across your enterprise! With V7.5 you can enable all levels of administrators and even developers and Help Desk employees to harness the power of ServerAdmin Plus. With a brand new interface that is easy to configure for specific groups and new security roles for the Pro Manager, it's never been easier to successfully administer your Domino environment.
New User Interface
ServerAdmin Plus V7.5's new Microsoft® XP interface is configurable to accommodate many different types of users. New Profiles allow you to grant access to certain ServerAdmin Plus Modules by specific responsibilities such as Mail, Security, Databases and Help Desk. Replacing the tabs are folders that allow you to group the Modules together as you wish. The new interface also includes a My Favorites Folder, which allows each user to place their most frequently used Modules into an easy-to-access folder.

In addition to all the ServerAdmin Plus Modules, users can now access any Domino WebAdmin Client through the new Embedded Browser. The browser puts all your favorite Web sites such as www.SearchDomino.com and www.Advisor.com within your reach.
New Access Control for the Pro Manager
You can now leverage administration skills across the enterprise thanks to increased control over Pro Manager projects. Administrators can now be given just the rights they need, such as run, edit, create and delete. This allows your experienced administrators to create projects, while other administrators in the company can run the projects.
- Createnew projects with Pro Manager.
- Editexisting Pro Manager projects assigned to them.
- RunPro Manager projects assigned to them.
- DeletePro Manager projects assigned to them.
With V7.5, you can also categorize Pro Manager projects. Categories group Pro Manager projects, allowing you to grant specific access rights to specific ServerAdmin Plus users. You define the categories however you wish.
For example, an ACL category could include the following projects:
- Find all databases with no LocalDomainServer in the ACL
- ACL Rule for LocalDomainServer: Enforce the ACL Entry LocalDomainServers to be set to Manager on all databases you select, and create the entry if it does not exist
- Find all databases that do not contain your Admin Group in the ACL
- Find all databases with your Admin Group not equal to Manager
- Search for databases with enforce-consistent ACL
For example, a Mail category could include the following projects:
- Convert mail files to iNotes
- Set quotas on mail files without quotas
- Warn users who have exceeded their quota
- Find attachments of a specified extension such as .exe
- Mail file search for text in a subject field or body
- Find old documents in the "sent" view and mark for deletion
Other Enhancements
Enhanced Logging when Moving Users
Ensure that all your users have successfully moved servers. Tracking capabilities first introduced in the Pro Manager Merge Domain project have now been used to enhance the Move User functionality. When moving users, you can identify whether a given user has deleted the "move" message or not yet pressed the button in the message, which would move them to the new server. In addition you can schedule, ServerAdmin Plus to re-send the message to only those users who deleted the "move" message and to those who have failed to press the button in the message.
