Extended Analysis for Upgrades
Percussion ServerAdmin Plus V8.1 adds proactive analysis and enhanced reporting to further reduce the time and complexity to upgrade an entire enterprise to Lotus Notes and Domino 6 (ND6). The Client Manager audits more information about the end-user desktops and warns administrators of potential problems with new alerts. ServerAdmin Plus V8.1 includes enhanced reports to better understand the progress of the upgrade. Additionally, this new version provides the option to force the client upgrades.
Gather More Information from End User Clients
The Client Manager audit now captures additional client information such as RAM, as well as 3rd party tools, such as version of Microsoft® Office, Blackberry, Palm, and Intellisync. With this analysis administrators can resolve workstation problems or upgrade 3rd party tools before the start of a Notes upgrade. Additional information allows administrators to further segment users and customize their installation.

New Alerts Warn of Potential Upgrade Problems
After a successful audit of end-users client, the Client Manager warns administrators of potential upgrade issues such as:
- End user clients which do not have enough disk space or memory for the upgrade
- Operating systems that will need to upgrade the installer before running the upgrade
- Versions of Microsoft® Office that need to be closed before a user begins an upgrade
Administrators can also create custom alerts.

Force a Client Upgrade
New to this version is the option for administrators to push out the Notes Client upgrade without requiring the end user to press a button. This option gives more control to administrators when rolling out Notes clients.
Enhanced Reporting
Graphical reports are now available within the Client Manager at the click of a button. In addition to exporting Client Manager information to Microsoft Excel for graphing, administrators can now analyze any audit information, including the status of an upgrade in progress within the Client Manager module. Administrators can also print, export or copy this information into an email or Word document to bring to a status meeting. The Client Manager’s built-in graphing provides a clear view of the upgrade progress.
